The Concrete Estimator is a Windows XP/Vista compatible concrete estimating program designed for estimating any kind of concrete job.
It is a process that originated in 1985. It was Developed and is still used by G&G Construction of Central California. The latest revision includes Vista compatability and many additional features. G&G Construction is a concrete specialty contractor that averages up to 600+ employees and works on all kinds of projects requiring concrete such as: Shopping centers, housing subdivisions, apartment complexes, fire stations, schools, single custom homes, parking lots, industrial and commercial projects, etc..
The Concrete Estimator handles large and small concrete jobs with the same, simple and easy to use, interface.
Because of the Windows environment, most of the input is by drop down lists and "click" and "shoot". Although drop down lists are available for most input of information, the user can choose to ignore the list and simply type anything that he wants.
Concrete Estimator is more than an estimating program. It's a concrete estimating system.
Once your take off is complete, Concrete Estimator will print your proposal with your logo with no additional typing or import / export of information on your part. It will print the proposal with or without the sitework detail.
It will also print a Jop Spec with all the detail except costs with no additional typing.
All you do is input your basic take-off and Concrete Estimator calculates and keeps track of concrete, gravel, sand, wire mesh, vpor barrier, rebar, bolts, hold down straps, hardware, subs, rentals, labor profit, overhead, site work, etc.
You can have multiple customers and multiple plans/projects attached to every bid.
Every plan/project can have unlimited; slabs walls, footings, columns, site work etc.
The program expands to whatever size project you are bidding automatically as you input your take-off.
Enter a customer once and you will never have to type his name again. You can enter special notes for every customer. You will always know what and when you bid to every customer.
